The ML Birders visited the Taylor Preserve in Cinnaminson and were guided through the trails by Mike Zickler who is a frequent guest on our trips and very active in the programs of the Preserve. We picked a lovely morning with sun and warming temperatures. We saw and\/or heard 45 species of birds as well as one beaver swimming along the Delaware River shoreline. The warblers have arrived and we ID’d five species. A relatively uncommon Red-shouldered Hawk was the only Buteo raptor seen. Other interesting birds were the Wood Thrush, Orchard Oriole, Common Snipe and Brown Thrasher.<\/p>
