The day was cloudy with temperatures in the upper 20 degrees. We gathered at the Community Center at 9:00 am. Walking across the meadow there were no birds to be seen on the ground or on the roof tops. Our group hoped to see some ducks at Monarch Lake, but it was iced over and even the usual large gathering of Canada Geese was gone.<\/p>

We headed down the Rancocas trail behind our pool and on to the KD trail, then out to the end of the Rancocas trail. We finally began to see some birds. Across the Rancocas on a bare tree, we saw two adult Bald Eagles. Dino had seen an immature Eagle there earlier in the morning. We then began to see gulls, ducks, and several decoys. A lone belted Kingfisher was perched on a tree across the water A Great Blue Heron flew by headed downstream.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
