It was a sunny, mild winter day with the temperature in the 40’s. We went first to Barnegat Light and walked out on the jetty. The inlet was churning with strong currents so there were only a few birds, but we did spot a harbor seal. We took a short walk through the woodland path and then drove over to eighth street. There we walked out a sandy path to the ocean. This is a beautiful spot just south of the rock jetty at the inlet, where we spotted a fair number of seabirds. After a good lunch at Kobel’s we headed south to Cedar Run Dock Road.
