The group met at the Community building at 9 AM, and birded until 11:30 AM. We walked out to the South Branch of the Rancocas Creek, back along the trail below the bluff, and part of the way along the outer rim path on the north side.

Last year we saw 17 species, and saw a total of 88 birds. Missing this year from the count that were observed at the January 2000 bird census were Ring-billed Gull, Red-tailed Hawk, Killdeer, Common Grackle, and American Goldfinch.

Participants: Doris Curley, Wayne Marshall, Arthur Steitz, Jean and Joe Jordan, Miriam and David Swartz, Louise Tompkins. Ann and Ed Naulty and Lorren Stiles phoned in their bird feeder sightings.
