Many activities at Medford Leas are sponsored by MLRA and LCRA, and are organized and directed on a volunteer basis by residents themselves. Residents’ Activities Fees support these activities. Most activities have a steering committee to conduct business, handle publicity, etc., but this varies for each activity. Some activities such as Aquatics and Fitness are regulated by law and cannot be conducted by volunteers.
The Therapeutic Recreation Department of Medford Leas provides activities for the residents in assisted living and skilled nursing units.
