Nature Advocacy Committee

Our mission

To provide a single point of contact for Residents’ activities and concerns in the areas of environmental and natural resource management of the Barton Arboretum and the campuses of Medford Leas.

To function as a liaison between the Residents, the Administration, and the Estaugh Board committees that oversee the natural environment at Medford Leas.

To provide forums, such as lectures, workshops, and walks, for the education of the Residents about the natural resources at Medford Leas.

To encourage Residents to observe and study the campus environment, and document its health and the variety of its natural life, both for enjoyment and for planning.

To cooperate with the Administration to organize volunteer work such as planting, watering, and weeding.
