Section 1.02 -- PURPOSES..The purposes of ths organization shall be to promote and further the common interests of the residents of Medford Leas and to communicate and cooperate with the Estaugh Board and the Administration in creating and cultivating a healthful, enjoyable, active, constructive, and useful community life.

Section 1.03 -- MEMBERS. All residents of Medford Leas shall be, ipso facto, member of the Association. Only residents shall be members.

Section 3.03 -- NOMINATIONS.. At the meeting of the Association in March, the chairman of the Nominating Committee shall announce the names of the candidates. . Within one week thereafter, any ten or more members of the Association may present to the Chairman of the Nominating Committee written nominations of other candidates accompanied by their respective written consent to serve if elected.

Section 6.01 -- APPOINTMENT, POWERS, AND DUTIES. The Board of Directors may establish such COMMITTEES (comittee index) as it believes necessary and beneficial and may discontinue committees no longer needed. The Board of Directors shall appoint a Director to be Sponsor of each committee. The duties of these committees shall cover the area of responsibility for which they were appointed. These committees may, at any time, consult with the Sponsor. The Sponsor shall be the means of communication between the Chairman and the Board of Directors. Each Chairman shall make an annual report to his or her Sponsor.

Section 6.03 -- AUDITING COMMITTEE. The Board of Directors shall appoint a committee of two from the membership of the Association to audit the annual report of the Treasurer. The members of the Committee shall serve a term of two years, each person to be appointed in alternate years. The report shall be made at the first regular meeting of the Association at the beginning of the next fiscal year.
